My Loud little Voice of Freedom

Here are my two little boys.  Galen (left) the calm and cool 3 year old and Kole Freedom (right) the boisterous and loud 2 year old.  Boy oh boy!!! Kole can scream.  It has been awhile since I had a very active two year old in the house.  I had it easy with Shiloh and Galen, but look out here comes Kole.    I know that he will be used mightily for the Kingdom of God.  He will be a voice crying out in the wilderness just like John the Baptist.  Kole's name actually comes from the Hebrew word which means "voice"  spelled Qol.  His voice or rather scream is like a trumpet.  When I was pregnant with my little Kole, the Lord told me he was going to light up a room and be a loud and happy child.  We didn't have a name for him until 1 week before his birth.   Donnie gave him his name.  God revealed the name to Donnie one week prior to his birth and then he told me after the midwives left my home what his name was going to be.  Wow!!! God was right.  Kole is definitel

Thanking the Lord!!!!

It has been a awhile since I've shared my heart.  I have been quite busy being a wife and mommy of seven beautiful children.  They are so much fun.  I thank the Lord each and every day for the blessings in my life.   There are days that I awake and don't feel like tackling the day.  My day starts so early in the morning.  It starts right in my mind.  I can go ahead and let it bring me down or take it to the Lord by thanking him, out loud.  It is so important that we thank Him out loud so we can hear our own voice.  It is a confession we are making and then we realize---Hey, life is not so bad after all.  My life is actually soooo wonderful!!! It couldn't be better.   What do I thank the Lord for?   1.  My life and my Hope in Him.  I thank Him for His Son Jesus and how he shed His blood for me so I can live a life of fullness and redemption.  Galatians 3:13 says we were Redeemed from the curse of the law so that the blessings of Abraham could come upon us and we have

The New Cadet Airman

Yesterday, Justin received his promotion to Cadet Airman.   He joined Civil Air Patrol an Air Force auxillary program.  He is really enjoying the whole program.  Here, Donnie and I are pinning him.  I must add that the pin I placed was on upside down.  He made sure he told me that. Ha ha ha.   Here is his entire squadron.  This is a great group of kids.  Justin is kneeling, front right.  We are so pleased with him.  Blessings PS ....  We just got a new computer so I will be posting more often, hopefully.
