Quick Update

(Here I am in this nice kitchen...my friend took this because I told her the dishes and laundry follow me where ever I go)

(Here is a shot of the dining room/living room of the condo we lived in for a week. It was gorgeous. I know--- Ephee doesn't look very happy "Mama get me DOWN!!")

(Here is a shot from the 5th floor--our condo was on the 5th floor...good thing for elevators around the corner of our condo)

Just a quick update....I got back from vacation this past Friday. We had a blast. I will be putting more pictures up soon. Justin also turned a year older on the 20th. He is now 15.....WOW!! We've been busy this past weekend and trying to get out of the vacation mode. I am going to be posting on Justin and our vacation hopefully in the days to come when I have a spare moment. So much to share.

Till then.

Chris

PS... Also---- I am going to be updating my new blog Managing My Home in the the days to come. Pssst.....not much managing has taken place since getting back from vacation. Ugh.!! But you know that is why I have the blog....to be real and transparent and to show you all that I don't always have together. LOL I better run... baby is crying, kids need to eat, and laundry needs to be washed, oh and you can't forget the dishes (I am going to put the kids to work)...life as a mommy!!!

She is Here!! Welcome Ana Karisa!!

Just a quick update to let you know we had the baby!!  Yay!!!! :D Here name:  Ana Karisa (pronounced  A-nah  Ka-ree-sah  ) Born: January 30 at 9:15 PM Weight:  7'2 oz  19 inches  Beautiful little girl.   Here are some pictures and when I start feeling normal and not so much like a milk cow, then I will post the details of what took place on Delivery day. ( Ana about 5 minutes old) (Here she after her check up--about 30 minutes old)   (Coming home!!  1 1/2 days old) We came home yesterday late afternoon, and I am lacking much sleep.  I really haven't slept since last Saturday.   She is nursing a lot right now to bring down my milk.  I've been nursing around the clock.  Almost every hour.  I am doing this because she has been hungry and I need my milk to come in as soon as possible.  I am showing signs today of it coming in.  She is not so fussy and more content.   It is so easy to forget about those newborn days.  It doesn't matter how many babies you have h

A day away....

Life had become so overwhelming for me when Donnie was away with the older two  children.  It seemed we hardly ever had time to really talk about life anymore I started to feel disconnected with him I really don't like this feeling I am not a surface type of person and when "problems" in life begin to brew..... look out!!   I will do what it takes to make things better.... Even if we have to make an emergency get-a-way... I wanted just one day... one whole day alone with him. Sooooo.... Donnie asked his sweet mom to watch the children for us while we took a little drive on over to the beach... ahhhhhh I think the beach has become one of my favorite places to be.... There is something that takes place deep in my heart when I come face to face with the massive ocean and the waves.... The breeze blows and there I find some comfort and peace... We had such a great time reflecting and revamping some of our vision, plans, and goals for  the

Meet Sweet Kara Faith

My sweet friend Nancy from Mom Just Like You , delivered sweet Kara Faith on January 8, 2010 at around 6:45 AM. Nancy's husband Stu calls me around 5:30 AM to let me know Nancy's contractions never let up and she was going to be delivering their long awaited miracle baby Kara. It has been an emotional battle these past 4 to 5 months for Nancy and Stu. Kara was diagnosed with Alobar HPE on the same day they found out they were having a baby girl, their 8th child, third daughter. Their heart was broken not knowing what the future held for them. Nancy leaned on the only source she had in her life: The Lord. I have been friends with Nancy for 5 plus years now (we met on MOMYS). When I found out Nancy was going to have a special baby, immediately my mommy heart was aching for my sweet friend. I went into deep prayer and intercession for them. I was grieving along with them, but deep down in my heart I knew God was and is Faithful. As I prayed one evening at worship nigh
